The requirement for a national payroll solution for the NHS, encompassed circa. 600 organisations across the country, covering more than 1.2m employees. A hugely demanding and significant Data Migration effort was required to successfully migrate data from the 28+ different legacy payroll and 40+ HR solutions (including SAP) into the new Oracle E-Business Suite solution.
In order to successfully deliver this huge programme, Egress planned the delivery of 12 concurrent waves of Data Migration cycles onto the single shared Oracle platform with circa 50 organisations in each wave.
