Egress Group, the trusted data partner for public sector organisations and private sector businesses, has appointed industry leader Kieran Hughes as CEO.
Earlier this year Egress acquired Stalis, a specialist provider of data services to the health sector, and in 2021 the business attracted investment from private equity firm, FPE.
Hughes, who joined in September, will lead the integration of Egress and Stalis and drive the delivery of end-to-end data services to public service providers, regional commissioning bodies, national agencies and private sector companies.
Hughes has over a decade of experience leading international teams to support large-scale digital and data integration projects in the public and private sectors. He was most recently President of Europe and Middle East for Nordic Consulting.
On his appointment, Kieran Hughes, said:
“If we are to ensure our public sector organisations meet the needs of citizens and pivot to more proactive and preventative local services, we have to give them the means to get real-time access to good quality data in the right context.
Likewise, to ensure the private sector continues to innovate and thrive, they need an expert partner that helps realise their data opportunities.
The Group has built a significant reputation and footprint in data management that spans four decades. We are uniquely positioned to now provide organisations with a single data partner that surfaces information for operational, financial and research purposes. I’m delighted to join the company at this critical inflection point for service providers and businesses alike.”
Llewellyn John, Partner at FPE, commented:
“We’re delighted to welcome Kieran to the team. We’re excited by the potential that Egress/Stalis have to help organisations make better use of the information they hold locally and bring together data to deliver effective services for all.”
