Focusing on the people aspects, as opposed to the technology, don’t miss this opportunity to learn from their experiences, with lively participation encouraged.
Data migration and integration are almost always on the critical path in an EPR Implementation Programme at the start of a digital transformation journey. Join David Newey, Interim Chief Information Officer at The Royal Marsden and Daniel Hallen, Chief Information Officer at East Lancashire Hospitals, to hear about their recent experiences, with a focus on the people, rather than the technology. Honest and insightful lessons learned will be shared, with plenty of time for Q&A discussion.
Takeaways:
- “It’s all about the people” – The technology is the easy part, it’s the people aspects that are much more challenging. Time and resourcing are limited, so it’s how to overcome those pressures and the resistance to change.
- “You don’t know, what you don’t know” – David and Daniel share their knowledge and experience, including their top three lessons learned.
- “Fail to prepare. Prepare to fail” – How to get an EPR project off to a great start and prepare for success, including understanding the data and integration challenges upfront.
