The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust have a complex integration estate extending to interoperability within neighbouring trusts within London. These critical integrations needed to be managed as part of their EPIC Electronic Patient Record implementation to ensure no loss or unexpected changes to service both within the Trust and with external organisations.
Egress provided EPR implementation and integration expertise to ensure that the integration workstream was delivered successfully. This involved understanding the changes required as part of the EPIC implementation; delivering InterSystems development capacity to enact required redevelopment; conducting technical testing and supporting the business through functional testing to assure continuity of services post EPIC implementation.
This involved working closely with the Trust business and technical teams as well as EPIC integration leads in order to successfully deliver, and accurately track the progress of, this complex workstream.
